This site exists as a tribute to those who played at and supported live music and jam nights in Rotherham since the turn of the 21st century, and the information is out of date. A special mention goes out to Mel, the sadly missed ex-landlord of the "Little Eff" where everyone had some great nights.
Effin' JAM is dedicated to providing information about JAM nights in Rotherham and the surrounding areas of Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Chesterfield, if you have news please submit to seeyou@effingjam.com

Brave New Arts, a not for profit organisation dedicated to raising funds for worthy causes and to developing live music for young musicians, is helping to promote an afternoon of music with several bands starting at 2pm and running until 8ish. There will be food available and no doubt we will be running raffles etc for the charity. If there is a better cause to support in Rotherham at the moment, we cant think of one!

Live music in Rotherham
As everyone is aware many live music venues in the town have closed in recent years, including SNAFU, Rudis Blues Cafe, The Dickens Inn and No 10. The Mail Coach no longer has live bands on Thursdays.
Venues that still have live music include The Cutlers Arms, The Trades, Woodlands Club, The Bridge Inn and Silverwood Miners Welfare.
